What you’ll do

In our fast-paced, working world, it is easy to get swept up in the day-to-day stress of trying to do it all. But it isn’t easy when failures occur every day and we compare ourselves to the curated narratives of others on social media. So how do we combat that inner voice always questioning if we are enough? Using Dr. Kristen Neff’s research, this workshop will explore the three tenants of self-compassion and how it can radically change the way we view ourselves and others. Self-compassion alleviates unnecessary stress, creates more caring behaviors, and reduces reactive anger and jealousy.

Agenda:

  • Welcome and Introduction (5 minutes)
  • Icebreaker (5 minutes)
  • Workshop (45 minutes)
  • Conclusion and Wrap-Up (5 minutes)
