Make a difference in new homeowners’ lives by volunteering at Esperanza Place, the nonprofit’s new construction site for affordable homes! These homes will mean new beginnings for 42 future homeowners. The nonprofit's first Zero Net Energy development, Esperanza Place will break new barriers in the affordable green building movement. From rooftop solar panels to water-efficient landscaping, the nonprofit is integrating sustainability throughout the design and construction process to ensure that Esperanza Place contributes more energy than it consumes—taking a lower toll on the environment and homeowners’ wallets.
In this experience, you will work a full construction shift from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, taking a break for lunch. Your team’s help is critical to completing the construction at Esperanza Place and building more affordable housing in the community.
